I'm not obsessed, really. D: ...despite the fact I finished this tonight when I was intending to go to bed after I put down the flat colors.
I just realized that when I can't figure out what to draw, I'll just draw musicians.
Tori Amos actually came to mind first, but my attempts at drawing her often fall short, so Tuomas was second. :B He has an interesting nose.
He also has the FRIZZIEST FUCKING HAIR I've *ever* seen.
Bah, that's okay.
The title comes from Nightwish's song "The Islander", and for this pic I also tried to get the same sort of atmosphere while still trying to follow the colors of os=364"the reference picture.
I'm thinking of maybe drawing pictures of all the band members now. ~.~
