Man oh man, I love weird small world occurrences.

The biggest one to happen lately really weirded me out. I made a new friend during graduation practice in June and met up with her again this year, so we've been hanging out on campus and such. I showed her my facebook page one day and the pictures from graduation. She saw the ones with ~Fortune1303 and said "I think I know him..."

I replied with "Well, he went to the same school as you a few years ago so you probably saw him around.", to which she replied "No, not like that."

I start babbling off how he was back in 05-06 and mentioned the girl he dated that time and a light went off in her head. Turns out, that girl is her sister! Holy shit!

What are the fucking chances of that happening? We sat next to each other all through graduation and met up again without planning it a few months later.. gah, it was just weird and funny.

The other one happened yesterday. I was hanging out with her and bought a coffee, and ended up splashing some on my hand and coat by accident. We had to detour to the bathroom so I can clean up, and this little detour actually ended up coming in handy because I walked out of the building just as this one guy started to walk by.

This one guy was someone I met back in September and we started a really interesting conversation that got cut short because the person he was waiting for showed up and he went home. I hoped for a while to run into him again but never did, so eventually my waiting kinda faded and I even forgot for a little while. Of course, as soon as that sort of thing happens I see him again and I was quite happy. He remembered my name on the second try. (He thought it was Rachel at first, and strangely that's not the first time that someone thought my name was Rachel. It gets stranger when you take into account that originally my parents wanted to name me that and even called me that for a couple months before I was born. Huh.)

He had this chocolately-minty cookie dough with him and shared it with me, then we exchanged emails so we can keep in touch. It was fun.

I dunno, I just love it when stuff like this happens.

A fun fact about yesterday is that I was wearing my tealish green shirt that has green and red flowers on it, and earlier this week at ~Nanaischaos's house we had Chinese food and my fortune cookie said "Green will be your lucky color this week!". I think fortunes are silly so I didn't think much of it but it ended up being a weird coincidence and came true, kinda.
